Shopping:

In order to keep your shopping experience uncluttered, we have collected many of our items into product "Families". Product Family items are those which are mostly similar but with slightly different specifications. For example, the RAB Future Flood models FF70 and FFH70 look exactly the same. However, the FF70 uses high pressure sodium lamps while the FFH70 uses metal halide.

Once you click into one of the categories, you'll be able to tell which items are part of a "Product Family" (see the image on the left).

Items with a bold name above their model# are part of a "Family". When you click on one of these items, you will see the detail for the item you clicked on as well as the other items in it's Family below it, in the "Family Products" section.

In general, every item will have a relevant photograph along side it. In some cases, a generic image will be used when a more specific image is not available. The description of the unit is the definitive specification.


Shopping Cart:

From the item's detail page, click "ADD TO CART". At anytime, you may RECALCULATE, SHOP MORE, or CHECKOUT.

RECALCULATE - Allows you to update your item quanitities and extended prices for your selections.
SHOP MORE - Takes you back to the main page and allows you to select more products while keeping your current item(s) in the cart.
CHECKOUT - Begins the checkout process. From the next screen, you can either login (existing customers) or enter your information as a new customer.

Checkout:

If you are an existing customer, enter your e-mail address and your password and click "Login Now". If you are a new customer, complete the form, and upon completion of your order, a temporary password will be assigned to you which you can use along with your email address to login for your next purchase without needing to enter all of your information a second time.Order confirmations, customer service issues, and an occasional savings coupon will be sent to your e-mail address.
As you proceed with your order, if you need to, you may edit your information (Billing & Shipping). MyElectric.net is a secure site, thus any credit card information used will need to be re-entered every time.

Completing Your Order:

After you have entered all of your information, make sure to check that all entries are correct and click "Submit Order Details". After placing your order, an e-mail confirmation will be immediately sent to you along with your login and temporary password (if you are a new customer). A link is also provided in this order confirmation email to change the temporary password to something of your liking, if you choose. If you forget your password, you may request it to be sent immediately to your e-mail.

Shipping Your Order:

When MyElectric.net receives your order, we fill most orders from our warehouse inventory within 24 hours. Any missing items are transferred into our stock from local manufacturers' warehouses within 1-2 weeks. Your order is then packaged with care, using one (or multiple) boxes and packaging materials. We have week day afternoon shipments, so orders received in the morning can usually go out that same day.

Shipments Back to My Electric:

Damaged, Incomplete or Incorrect Materials:

Please contact us immediately so we may correct the problem.
1.) If the "UPS" package is noticeably and heavily damaged, refuse it from the delivery driver. If you already accepted it, contact your "UPS" driver and have them take it back. If that doesn't work, call "UPS" and file a claim for the damaged shipment. Then contact us for a replacement and further instructions.
2.) If something is missing, it could be "back-ordered." First check your packing slip. All back-orders will be shipped 7-10 working days, or an e-mail will notify you of the back-order status. If no back-order exists for the missing items, contact us via email, fax or phone immediately, so we may fulfill the missing items.
3.) If any materials you receive are incorrect, please contact us via e-mail, fax or phone, so we may re-ship the correct materials and issue a (RMA#) for you to use when returning the incorrect items.

(Note) Please understand, MyElectric.net desires to maintain a satisfactory working relationship with all our customers. While we can take care of "UPS" charges one-way, we may not be able to reimburse charges for shipments back to us (regardless of fault).

Returns:

Shipments back to MyElectric.net will not be accepted without a RMA# (Return Material Authorization Number) cleary marked on the outside of the package. Any new item may be returned within 35 days, so long as it has not been used, hooked up, assembled, un-packaged, soiled, customized, etc. MyElectric.net must be able to resell returned items as new merchandise to another customer. Furthermore, a restocking charge of 35% or more may be applied to 30-day overstock or special order items that must go back to the manufacturer. Any defective items may be returned within 35 days. Warranty:

Each manufacturer has a warranty, however, the warranty between manufacturers vary. You may check thier web site, or contact MyElectric.net to find out how to process a claim. MyElectric.net makes no warranty or guarantee and acts as a distributor only. MyElectric.net carries only products with the best industry warranties.

Discounts, Product Promo's and Coupons:

Some products will have quantity discounts. Our re-order customers will be e-mailed product promotions and coupons. And from time to time, we will offer volume customers percentages off their total order. Please ask us for more information.

Re-Order:

It's easy! You may return to your account by simply logging-in. If you have forgotten your password, just answer your "secret question" that you established with us on your first visit/order. Reordering each time under the same login establishes a history of materials boughtwith us, and may qualifiy you for discounts, product promotions and coupons to be used for future purchases.
